Make your legacy known when you drive the Subaru Legacy all over Tinton Falls, Middletown Township, and Long Branch, New Jersey. If you’re considering this sedan, you may want to know which trim levels fit your lifestyle. Five trims including Base, Premium, Limited, Sport, and Touring XT can be found on our website and at World Subaru. Let’s learn what they entail now.
Two different engines can power your Legacy. The introductory 2.5L SUBARU BOXER® engine appears under the hood of the Base through Limited trims. It produces 182 horsepower with 176 lb-ft of torque so that you can get going on your next adventure. It can take you over 640 miles of total highway range!
With the Sport and Touring XT trims, you’ll get a 2.4L turbocharged SUBARU BOXER® engine. This catapults you even further by producing 260 horsepower with 277 lb-ft of torque. You’ll feel satisfaction whichever trim and engine combination you choose.
Comfort will be the goal you can reach in the Subaru Legacy. In the Base trim, an automatic climate control system will keep your cabin warm or cool. Move up to any other trim, from Premium to Touring XT, and you can enjoy the adjustability of the dual-zone climate control system.
To further keep you warm during the winter, heated front seats come standard in every trim except the Base one. For Limited and Touring XT trims, the rear seats can be equipped with heat. A Jersey Shore heat wave will feel less sweltering with the ventilated front seats in the Touring XT trim.
Diverse materials can furnish your seating in your Legacy. The first two trims, Base and Premium, come with cloth upholstery. For a more distinctive look, opt for the Sport trim with Sport cloth upholstery with red contrast stitching. Both the highest trims provide you with leather upholstery. The Limited carries leather trim while the Touring XT offers Nappa leather.
Plenty of technology makes the Subaru Legacy a modern marvel. The Base trim offers the SUBARU STARLINK® Dual 7-inch Multimedia display. If you prefer a larger screen, the Premium through Sport trims upgrade to an 11.6-inch Multimedia Plus display. For more of a navigation-focused model, the Premium and Limited trims can use the 11.6-inch Multimedia Navigation display. It’s standard in the Touring XT trim.
You know that safety comes first in every Subaru produced. While you can take advantage of most driver-assist systems through the EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, there are a few that can be added.
The DriverFocus® Distraction Mitigation System can help you stay on task when you’re drifting or engaging in drowsy driving. It’s available in the Limited trim and standard for Sport and Touring XT trims.
To gain more visibility, you may wish to get the Blind-Spot Detection and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert systems. These can be added to the Premium trim and come standard in the Limited through Touring XT trims.
Stop in your tracks when a pedestrian or obstacle pops up in your path. Rely on the Reverse Automatic Braking system in the Limited through Touring XT trims.
